P&C Client Service Representative

Summary

The Property & Casualty Client Service Representative position is to provide assistance to Account
Managers, Account Executives and Brokers in the daily servicing of insurance clients of CMR Risk &
Insurance Services, Inc.

Duties & Responsibilities

Some specific duties and activities will include:

  • Issuing certificates of insurance
  • Requesting updates on claims and obtaining loss runs
  • Reviewing issued policies for accuracy
  • Processing Policy Changes (change request, endorsement follow up and review)
  • Obtaining updated client exposures for marketing purposes
  • Issuing and extending temporary proofs of insurance
  • Issuing Auto ID Cards
  • Electronic file set up and file content scanning
  • Taking self-study classes on personal time to expand insurance knowledge
  • Preparing submissions to marketplace
  • Reviewing and negotiating coverages and premiums with insurance companies
  • Preparing proposals and recommendations of insurance coverage to clients
  • Reviewing contracts for insurance requirements and providing recommendations/modifications to requirements
  • Conducting claim reviews with clients (provide status, reason for status, action plan on claims)
  • Billing clients and following up on payments

Employee Benefits: Account Administrator

SUMMARY
The Employee Benefits Account Administrator position is to provide assistance to Account Managers &

Account Executives in the daily servicing of insurance clients of CMR Risk & Insurance Services, Inc.

Department: Employee Benefits

Pay Range: $27.50 – 32.00 Hourly

Classification: Non-exempt

FTE: Full Time

DUTIES & RESPONIBILITIES

This list is not all-comprehensive. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice to reflect changes in the position requirements and/or to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.

  • We will train the right candidate to: o Assist Account Manager and Account Executive with Benefits Enrollment Administration o Assist Account Manager and Account Executive with Enrollment Data reports and census scrubbing o Help administer and set up EASE or similar Benefits Administration systems for clients
  • Assists clients with claims issues. Point them in right direction to handle themselves and then step in if further assistance is needed (level of claims assistance dependent upon size of client, employee needing help, ask broker for further clarification)
  • Reviewing issued policies for accuracy (rates, correct plans, etc.)
  • Assist clients with processing plan changes (new hires, terminations etc.)
  • Initiate Renewal Process with each client (obtain updated census, most recent carrier bill, etc.), then work with broker to narrow down marketing options
  • Preparing renewal submissions to marketplace
  • Reviewing and negotiating renewal coverages and premiums with insurance companies
  • Preparing renewal proposals and recommendations of insurance coverage to clients
  • Meeting with clients to present Insurance Renewal with broker or alone if broker is unavailable
  • Process all renewal changes and enrollment info to existing or new carriers (both renewal and new business
  • Assist clients in preparing enrollment material and attending enrollment meetings (both renewal and new business)
  • Enter new and renewal initial billings into AMS360
  • Electronic file set up and file content scanning o e.g. – creating AMS360 account, setting up Worldox folders
  • Reviewing contracts for insurance requirements and providing recommendations or modifications to requirements
  • Help administer and setup clients with their designated TPA’s (Cobra service, Section 125 plans, etc.)
  • Help administer and set up client portals o e.g. – Mineral and Ease benefits sites
  • Taking self-study classes on personal time to expand insurance knowledge
  • Opening & distributing mail
  • Back-up telephone answering and monitoring general voice mailbox

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE BENEFITS
